A day out in Pensacola

Hi Blog world,

This past Saturday, I got to go out with a group of friends, we went out to get Thai food. I had never had Thai food before, so I was excited to try something different for a change. All the food that I had that day was hot and fresh when it came to our table.

I had spring rolls as an appetizer; they were so crunchy that they fell apart as I ate mine. I shared part of mine with friends too. We all split some dumplings. They were soft, and filled with vegetables-I even discovered that they were quite tasty with sweet and sour sauce on them.

The main course that I had was sweet and sour chicken. The food was over-flowing with sweet and sour sauce; there were a lot of vegetables too. The chicken was not fried like I had hoped for. But never the less, it hit the spot. Soon I was full, and I did not have room for another bite.

The price for the meal, including the tip was great. I didn’t pay more than twelve dollars including the tip.

After we dropped off our friends at their house, my other friend and I hit , what we jokingly call, “The Not New Store,” other wise known as, a thrift store.  I really needed some shorts, so I was very lucky to find five pairs for around 3 dollars.  We then continued our day by going to another store. I found a pair of jeans for around 7 dollars. I was so happy.

It was nice to get out with my friend and to make some new friends. All in all, it was a great day.

Blog soon,
